Frequently Asked Bakery Questions:
- How far in advance should I place an order?
- To ensure that I can have your order ready for when you need it, please allow at least 3 business days. I do have two little ones at home who love to watch me bake (no licking involved, I promise!) For larger orders, it's best to plan a few weeks in advance.
- What are your specialities?
- Some of my most requested items are my French Macarons and miniature cupcakes. I love to play around with flavor combinations and coming up with new creations!
- Do all orders have to be placed online?
- While I do have my products page for purchasing bakery items, you may also email me to request an order! Purchases may be made online, and I also accept cash and Venmo.
- Do you make wedding cakes?
- At this point in time, I do not feel like I have the expertise and training to make such an important cake! However, I would LOVE to help fill up your Pittsburgh-traditional cookie table!
- Do you deliver?
- My items are pick-up only in Penn Township, PA. If you have a large event and can't figure out how to pick-up the items, please send me a message, and I'm sure we can figure something out!
- Are you a storefront bakery?
- While that would be a dream come true, I do not have a storefront location. My orders are best suited for events and lovers of dessert, since most items are sold by the dozen.
- What is the best way to store French Macarons?
- French macarons are best within the first two days and can be stored at room temperature on those days. They should then be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to one week.
