If you have leftover strawberries from my Strawberry Chicken Salad, pulverize in a blender until smooth, and add about a Tablespoon of strawberry puree to a glass of lemonade. If that doesn't scream summer, I don't know what does!
Chill Time: 4 hours
Yield: about 2 quarts
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 8 cups water, divided
- 1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
Directions:
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Set aside to cool to room temperature before chilling in the fridge until cold.
- In a pitcher, combine lemon juice and chilled syrup. Stir in remaining 7 cups water. Chill in fridge until ready to serve. Enjoy!
